This collection of older quilt pattern blocks is a combination of 22 classic newspaper patterns and 68 other quilt block patterns obtained by clipping and ordering patterns from newspapers and magazines, by my mother, Gypsie Adaline Chaney Ramey , Mrs. Margaret Carson (our good neighbor) who dearly loved to quilt and did so until her death at the age of 96, Lillian Squires, me, and other friends who collected older quilt patterns.
Some newer ones are also included.
These are scanned black and white images of the original sheets that were ordered or copied from the newspaper and magazine patterns. Some of them are not very plain but it cannot be helped since some of the patterns are very old and yellow worn.
Most of the text on the classic quilt blocks cannot be read easily.
The quilt pattern blocks are of regular block cutting size that can be copied and used as is without having to be made larger.
Only some of the pages have instructions, however some do not.
A ¼ seam allowance will need to be added to some of the patterns.
